Pastel Instead of White!!!
I cannot express how excited I am to be writing this blog post! My good friend Mallory and I have dreamed of this day ever since we met, getting published on Style Me Pretty!! Words really can't express how grateful and blessed I am to have this actually happening. This shoot all started when Mallory was a second shooter for a wedding located at the Lombardi House and she knew she had found her dream venue to shoot at, a blank canvas, clean, crisp, and pure. So we wanted to continue that theme with a very etherial, angelic looking dress loaned to us from The Ivory Silk, it brought that feel along with a pop of color, either purple or grey depending on the lighting. The veil was so elegant and romantic, we couldn't have wished for a better pair.
Other than the dress we wanted everything pretty neutral and clean, so for the tux, Friar Tux lent us a stunning navy that would fit with either color that the dress displayed.
When it came to the flowers, we wanted simple, elegant, timeless, and honestly Christy from Honeycomb Affair couldn't have read our minds more, the navy blue anemones tied in perfectly with the suit and the clean crisp whites and greens helped to blend everything together while keeping with very natural.
Our Cake was a work of art, Rachel from Elise Cakes did a phenomenal job using both the grey and purple aspects of the dress along with silver leaf to turn it a little more elegant, and we can't forget about the purple marbling effect, Stunning!!
We were lucky enough to work with a ton of vendors and couldn't have asked for a better team. We are so excited to share this feature with you, so here's the link:
